Adequate sleep is necessary for overall health because it plays an important role in regulating mood and energy. Managing your stress can cause your body to release hormones that can help disrupt your sleep. Try relaxation techniques such as yoga,deep breathing, meditation, Establish a bedtime routine, Set a consistent bedtime routine everyday, even on weekends. This helps regulate your body’s internal clock and improve the quality of your sleep. Limit caffeine and alcohol intake. Both alcohol and caffeine can disrupt your sleep. It is important to limit your consumption limit especially in the hours leading to bedtime.
