Whenever patient is having any abnormal movement, it is important to know whether it is seizure or no. A few children may have few jerks in their sleep and that can be completely normal or a few children may move their hands randomly. It may be important video record that event. Some of the movements of childhood epilepsy can be very typical like cycling movements, like rolling movements , or patient suddenly gets up with a staring look and drooling of saliva ad they are confused and just lies down. At times parents are not able to know the seizures but only in the morning they are saying that my child has bit his tongue.
