Side sleeping is good but sleeping on your stomach is the very worst position if you want to sleep comfortably using a mattress and pillows. Sleeping in less clothing or keeping blankets and duvets pulled back sleeping with your arms and legs out increases the surface area so that sweat can elaborate and cool you faster. If your blinds are dark in color, switch them in light cream or white to stop them from absorbing the heat.
