Cats sleep on average 15 hours a day, with some sleepy kitties getting in up to 20 hours of shut-eye each day. Kittens will sleep most of the day, but as soon as they turn into “teenagers” you’ll notice a change in their sleeping patterns as they become more and more active. Senior cats tend to slow down their activity levels and turn in earlier, snooze more often and for longer periods than an adult cats.
