Playing pink noise while you sleep may help your heart, a study suggests It’s called pink noise because the filters applied to all sounds to get pink noise are comparable to the filters applied to light to get pink light They found that playing the pink noise seemed to increase the strain on the left ventricle of the heart, indicating that the heart was working harder and pumping more blood throughout the body. The researchers say this is good, and shows that the heart is getting more oxygen to areas of the body.
