Researchers they have decoded more about how sleep helps boosts immunity. Good sleep appears to helps cells known as T cells move more effectively towards lymph nodes. This cells movement is driven by increased in release of growth and hormones and prolactin during sleep. This process may explain the causality of what scientists have long known sleep supports immunity. T cells helps fight infection and research have shown they may also helps prevent cancer.
