Newborn babies usually are commonly going to have some spitting or spilling from the mouth. They are not vomiting they are just spitting. Spitting means they’ll have a little bit of either milk or curdled milk coming out of the mouth after eating even after burping it is very very common in babies and that can happen multiple times a day. Is it significant? No, if it happens look quite infrequently or you know occasionally in once in a few feeds sometimes even in per feed also but happens in very small quantities and it is not affecting the baby’s growth, baby to feed and baby is not agitated with it then most of the times these are benign things means they don’t have any reasons. Why do they do it first of all? They do this because their stomach and intestines are quite immature when they are just born and to certain days so they can’t hold all the milk that they’ve got and when they are taking the milk they’ll also be taking a lot of air with that’s called as aerophagia because initial their feeding techniques may not be good they’ll be taking more of milk or they’re crying along with that lot of air goes because of that air also they’ll be spitting out some amount of the milk.
